The BLOW bench by Bernhard Müller looks less built than laid down: a continuous strap upholstery, drawn softly over the edge, resting on two narrow steel runners that lift the body off the floor. The backrest stands free behind the seat surface — no frame, no visible construction.
The low backrest keeps a total height of 76.5 cm below the table edge, leaving the space open — a bench for the dining table that doesn't get in the way and can be pushed underneath.
Armrests can be added on one or both sides, here 30 cm high. As a corner bench, the seat surface runs mitred around the corner, with a second leg of the same length.
Four lengths from 150 to 300 cm. The frame is available either as steel runners powder-coated in anthracite or wall-mounted on a black powder-coated steel bracket — both versions cost the same.
For the cover, fabrics and leather are available in six price groups — from the robust Flash to Clunis, Gent, Jette, Rami and Spa through to Loop, and the leathers Orta, Idro, Lugano and Garda. Available on request with a fire-retardant fleece.
