When the Danish design duo Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm designed the Plico Chair, they wanted to create a chair that would take up as little space as possible when not in use – without compromising on comfort. To highlight what other designers often try to conceal, they created a strikingly simple design with visible joints, beautiful brass fittings and consummate craftsmanship. The solid oak Frame and the curved back Legs provide excellent stability. The Backrest and Seat surface feature matching Seat cushions upholstered in top-stitched linen canvas, offering an elegant look and the highest level of seating comfort. The adjustable Backrest folds down completely, while the saddle leather Armrests complete the design and give it a distinctive, characterful expression.
The FK11 is available in two Versions: oiled oak or white-oiled oak, both at the same price. The Cover for the seat, Backrest and Cushion is available exclusively in natural canvas (100% linen); the Armrests and leather straps are available exclusively in natural-coloured saddle leather. The fittings are made of brass. The FK11 does not include a neck cushion; the same chair with a neck cushion carries the model number FK10.
