Signet Mitra upholstered bed

Mitra is the upholstered bed with a finely contoured headboard and a clearly visible centre division. Two separate moulded-foam sub-upholstery sections form the two sides of the headboard, with the recess between them created by a worked-in profile. Elegant, graceful and modern at once, Mitra combines a clear design language with considered sleeping comfort.

The headboard is available at the same price in two overall heights: high at 119 cm and low at 97 cm. This lets you adapt the leaning height to your own sleeping habits without any change in price.

Choose the side panel height — the side panel is the upholstered side wall of the bed frame — between 18 and 27 cm. The side panel houses a four-way adjustable support for the slatted frame: on the 18 cm side panel, set to 5, 7.5, 10 or 12.5 cm; on the 27 cm side panel, set to 14, 16.5, 19 or 21.5 cm. This lets you match the height of the top of the mattress to your mattress — the thicker the mattress, the lower the support setting. Both heights cost the same, and the overall height of the bed does not change as a result.

Two bed storage boxes are available, and they differ fundamentally. Variant 1 is placed inside the finished bed: it consists of two parts that are joined together during assembly and covered with a hook-and-loop cover. The bed keeps its four regular feet. With a footprint of 96 to 176 × 186 cm at 14.5 cm height, Variant 1 offers more storage space, but is not available in special lengths.

Variant 2 is part of the construction: four recessed metal feet support the bed and simultaneously hold the storage frame. Regular bed feet are omitted, the bed frame has a fixed cover, and the bed takes on a floating appearance. The footprint measures 86 to 166 × 166 cm at 14.5 cm height; Variant 2 is also available for bed frames in 210 and 220 cm lengths. Both storage boxes are open at the top and supplied without a base — dispensable on smooth floors. For Variant 2, an insert base in white-coated hardboard is available on request. Both require a foldable slatted frame.

Accessories. The LED reading light comes as a set of two lights and a power supply: warm white light at 3000 Kelvin, dimmable via a touch switch, on a flexible, black-sheathed gooseneck. The LEDs shine downwards as a reading light and upwards as ambient light. The bed has two USB-C ports on each side — one at 5V/1A for the phone, one at 5V/2A for the tablet. The orientation light is also a set of two: slim LED strips measuring 23 × 2.1 × 2.1 cm, mounted on the lower edge of the bed's side panel. A motion sensor switches them on and off automatically when getting out of bed. 230 volts, 2 watts.

The Vince console is a floating-mounted shelf with a pull-out, 30 × 30 cm at 11 cm height. It replaces the bedside table and leaves the floor beneath it clear. The body is in oak or walnut, solid or part-solid, according to the Signet colour range. We calculate it in pairs, i.e. for both sides of the bed.
