The Thonet S 1520 wardrobe rack in tubular steel is inspired by the classic B 52/1 tubular steel wall coat rack from 1930/31, documented among other places in the famous Thonet card catalogue (1930/31). Compared with the historic design, the size in particular has been carefully adapted to today's needs – the S 1520 offers considerably more space for clothing and belongings. The concealed coat hooks give it a linear, clean appearance. The shelf surfaces for hats, handbags and shoes are made from a durable, translucent mesh fabric. With the two wardrobe/shelf Variants, a complete product family for the entryway has been created, which also pairs excellently with all other Thonet tubular steel classics.
The S 1520 wall coat rack is made of chrome-plated tubular steel, with shelf surfaces in black mesh fabric. Both versions measure 100 x 36.5 x 25 cm. Available options are the coat rack with clothes hooks, whose hooks are concealed for a linear, clean appearance, and the S 1521 shelf, which can also be used as a shoe rack. The coat rack weighs 3.2 kg, the shelf 3.4 kg. Together, the two form a product family for the entryway.
