With Gruuve, Patricia Urquiola presents a modular sofa system that takes up the spirit of the 1970s and carries it into the present. Inspired by the legendary Lowseat system of 2000, Gruuve appears as a further development with a powerful presence and soft contours reaching down to the floor. The collection embodies a modern interpretation of free, non-conformist living – with flowing, irregular lines and four modules that can be assembled into individual compositions. This creates movement in the room, a sense of dynamism and playful freedom. Whether in a private living area or in public lounges, Gruuve draws the eye and, through its articulated yet harmoniously connected forms, creates zones for meeting and exchange. The double-sided seating arrangement invites both relaxed reclining and sociable conversation.
A particular highlight: Gruuve is also available in exclusive fabric designs created by Patricia Urquiola – individual, expressive and distinctive.
