Like a sculpture in the room: the S 8000 conference table system by architect Hadi Teherani combines high functionality with perfect quality and visual lightness. The elegant metal foot bar continues like a band across the surface of the table top, becoming a functional area there – the central element. Media modules can be individually integrated into it. The cabling runs invisibly within the supporting structure.
The S 8000 conference table stands on a frame of finely ground stainless steel with a floor flange. The 60 mm thick chipboard table top is made with real wood veneer or in white mineral composite, with the edge veneered as a 5 mm solid lipping. A multifunction channel with a stainless steel cover is set into the table top surface, allowing media modules to be integrated. Five lengths from 270 to 630 cm, with a constant depth of 150 cm, provide space for 8 to 22 people; the table height is 75 cm. For an additional charge, the corners can be rounded with a radius of 68 mm, or 50 mm for mineral composite. Assembly can be carried out by the Thonet assembly team; table tops in mineral composite can also be bonded and sanded seamlessly.
