Although Hans J. Wegner designed the CH58 bar stool decades ago, its timeless design still suits modern kitchens, bars and restaurants today. With its slightly angled legs and round, upholstered seat, the stool creates an inviting atmosphere for relaxed moments. The round stainless steel ring of the CH58 bar stool, which connects the four legs, is conveniently placed so that you can comfortably rest your feet beneath the seat. The construction offers optimal stability, with the legs — in typical Wegner style — being thickest at the point where they meet the ring and tapering both towards the floor and towards the seat. Wegner's bar stool is available in two heights: the CH58 is suited to a kitchen counter and the CH56 to a bar. Simply choose the height and material that suit your interior.
The legs of the CH58 are made from solid oak — soap-treated, clear-lacquered, oiled, white-oiled or black — or from walnut, clear-lacquered or oiled. The round seat is padded with foam and upholstered in leather; available leather groups are A (Loke), B (Thor) and C (Sif and Terra). Fabric covers are not available for this model. The foot ring is made of stainless steel. The CH58 has a seat height of 68 cm; the taller version, the CH56, with a seat height of 76 cm, is offered by Carl Hansen & Søn as a separate product.
