Carl Hansen VLA75L Foyer Bench
As one of three pieces of furniture designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1945, the Foyer Bench was originally intended for the Radiohuset in Copenhagen, which today houses the Royal Danish Academy of Music. The bench has a simple expression, and the solid oak Frame is fitted with an Upholstery with hand-worked buttons. Adapted in length and comfort to today's needs, the beauty of Lauritzen's original design is preserved both for the present and for generations to come.
The VLA75L is the long Version of the Foyer Bench. The Frame is made of solid wood and is available in two Versions: soaped oak or oiled oak. The foam Seat cushion can be covered in eight Fabric groups and three leather groups. The hand-worked buttons are always made in the same Cover material as the Upholstery. The short Version of the same bench carries the model number VLA75S.
