The table top in natural-looking natural stone forms a fascinating contrast to the base in industrial design. Here double-T girders show themselves in their raw robustness, joined by a rectangular base plate, and immediately give the table an impressive presence.
As stain prophylaxis, all stones at DRAENERT are impregnated with a special oil-wax emulsion. This delays rapid penetration of liquid, so that there is enough time to wipe it away. A damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning. Regular follow-up care with the DRAENERT stone care set is recommended.
Black steel is black-scaled raw steel of the kind also used in the building trade. The surfaces are not ground, so the girders show the typical marks of use such as scratches, scrapes, dents, stains and traces of rust. The building industry does not treat steel gently. If the surface is damaged, the bare steel appears beneath the black-scaled layer. These bare areas remain visible and are not a defect. The surfaces are treated with rust converter and lacquered clear. This creates an interesting black-violet play of colour on the metal surface. With a black coating this play of colour would not be possible. We ask for your understanding of these material-related characteristics.
