Signet Shirin upholstered bed
The Shirin upholstered bed by Signet is an elegant centrepiece for your bedroom.
The headboard of the Shirin bed features an elegant pointed-cushion look with a continuous Piping trim, which can be finished in a contrasting colour on request. The Upholstery is slim yet offers a high level of leaning comfort.
Two storage bases are available, which differ fundamentally. Variant 1 is inserted into the finished bed: it consists of two parts that are joined together during assembly and covered with a hook-and-loop-fastened cover. The bed keeps its four regular feet. With a base area of 96 to 176 × 186 cm at a height of 14.5 cm, Variant 1 offers greater storage space but is not available in special lengths.
Variant 2 is part of the construction itself: four recessed metal feet support the bed and simultaneously hold the storage frame. Regular bed feet are omitted, the bed frame is permanently upholstered, and the bed takes on a floating look. The base area measures 86 to 166 × 166 cm at a height of 14.5 cm; Variant 2 is also available for bed frames in lengths of 210 and 220 cm. Both storage bases are open at the top and supplied without a base panel — this can be omitted on smooth floors. For Variant 2, an insert panel made of white-coated hardboard is available on request. Both variants require a foldable slatted frame.
Accessories. The LED reading light comes as a set of two lights and one power supply: warm-white light at 3000 Kelvin, dimmable via a touch switch, on a flexible, black-sheathed gooseneck. The LEDs shine downwards as a reading light and upwards as ambient lighting. The bed has two USB-C ports on each side — one at 5V/1A for a phone, one at 5V/2A for a tablet. The orientation light is also a set of two: slim LED strips measuring 23 × 2.1 × 2.1 cm, mounted on the lower edge of the bed side panel. A motion sensor switches them on and off automatically when getting out of bed. 230 volts, 2 watts.
The Vince console is a floating shelf with a pull-out, 30 × 30 cm at a height of 11 cm. It replaces the bedside table and leaves the floor beneath it free. The carcass is made of oak or walnut, solid or part-solid, in a Signet colour sample. It is priced in pairs, i.e. for both sides of the bed.
