VIP is the leather sofa bed by Franz Fertig: understated elegance through its fine leather version, combined with excellent seating comfort thanks to a high-quality Bonell spring mattress. Foldable armrests and the integrated sleep function turn VIP from sofa to bed with a 200 cm sleeping length in just a few steps.
The telescopic pull-out mechanism, made from solid beech with a hand-crafted dovetail guide, runs smoothly, and the mattress base consists of sprung wooden slats. The backrest folds forward via upholstered joints, so no additional distance from the wall is needed when converting the sofa (Zero-Wall technology). VIP is made exclusively in leather; 33 leathers across five price groups are available. Those who would like the same sofa in fabric will find it at Franz Fertig under the model name MALOU.

- The armrests can be adjusted via upholstered joints into multiple positions (horizontal, 45°, vertical); maximum load capacity 25 kg
- Optional with integrated bed box – it replaces the sofa's base frame, so the rear feet are omitted; not possible if the raised seat height is selected!
- Zero-Wall technology: the backrest folds forward, no distance from the wall is required
- Can be used as a sofa and/or sofa bed
