Signet Giro Sofa Element
The basic element of the Giro modular system: a seat element with backrest and back cushion. Use it to build your own seating landscape — as a middle section without an armrest, or as an end section with one armrest.
You choose two things: the width — 140, 180 or 210 cm — and the armrest. Choose from the narrow fixed armrest, the narrow foldable armrest and the cushion armrest, each on one or both sides; or the version with no armrest at all.
Seat and body, backrest and armrest are upholstered separately and can therefore be combined in different fabric or leather groups.
- Frame: seat frame in metal; backrest and armrest frame in veneered wood panels
- Suspension: steel sinuous spring suspension in the seat (Nosag)
- Upholstery: multi-layer polyether foam with fibre cover
- Seat cushion pad: foam core wrapped in fibre filling, finished extra soft
- Back cushion: polyether strips and fibre filling
- Seat mat, body cover and back cushion are always removable, including in leather
- Back cushions included: 140 cm with 2 × 68 × 45 cm, 180 cm with 2 × 90 × 45 cm, 210 cm with 3 × 68 × 45 cm
- The width given in the price list excludes armrests: each fixed armrest adds 8 cm, the foldable armrest adds 8–12 cm, and the cushion armrest adds a 14 cm overhang
- Feet: powder-coated metal, fine-textured black; available for an extra charge with a solid wood sleeve in oak or walnut per the Signet colour range
- Giro headrest, multi-stage adjustable, available for an extra charge
- Dimensions: 140, 180 or 210 cm width without armrests, up to 238 cm with two armrests; depth 92 cm; height 90 cm incl. back cushion, 72 cm without; seat height 46 cm; seat depth 60 cm incl. back cushion
