The Amorin Table does not simply stand in a room – it opens up a new, flexible form of communication and togetherness. Positions and perspectives at the table have been rethought. Seating arrangement and sightlines allow every person to communicate with the others from almost any seat. This constantly creates new situations and different forms of closeness.

The table top is carried by two sculpturally shaped discs, arranged at an angle to one another. The Legs are made of fine concrete – available in natural finish, matt black, or lacquered bronze. The interplay of the solid table top in stone or wood with the softly drawn shape of the base frame creates a distinctive, expressive aesthetic.
Particular attention is paid to the details and the careful workmanship of the table top. The edges are finished as a soft edge and feel pleasant thanks to their gentle contour. Resting your arms on them is also comfortable. In both the marble and the wood version, the soft edge is a high-quality, characteristic detail. Stone embodies, like hardly any other material, natural origin and the power of the earth. In the fine Verde Roma quartzite, golden and white veins run through the striking green base.
In its deliberate reduction to the essential, the table unfolds its full presence – whether through the lively, tactile warmth of fine solid wood or through the sculptural, timeless elegance of expressive natural stone. Design: Wolfgang C. R. Mezger

Natural stone (in particular marble) is sensitive to mechanical stress, acids, fats and oils. The surface is irregular and open-pored – veins, pores and inclusions are natural characteristics. Filling the surface is a necessary part of processing the material. Every natural stone top is a one-of-a-kind piece. A visualisation is sent in advance for approval of the natural stone top. The overall weight of the table must be taken into account during planning. Assembly must be planned accordingly on site.
