In 1913 Josef Hoffmann designed this elegant group of upholstered furniture as part of the interior for the Gallia family in Wohllebengasse, Vienna. The clear lines and timeless simplicity of the designs reflect Hoffmann's unmistakable style — marked by strict geometry and the highest craftsmanship. As a co-founder of the Wiener Werkstätte and an important member of the Vienna Secession, Hoffmann shaped an entire era. With legendary projects such as the Purkersdorf Sanatorium and the Palais Stoclet he realised his vision of the Gesamtkunstwerk — an interplay of architecture, furniture and applied art. The Gallia collection, consisting of a fauteuil and a two-seater bench, brings the elegance and clarity of Viennese modernism into your rooms. A design classic that still delights today with its aesthetics and quality.

Note: creases are inherent in the design, workmanship and material and are not grounds for complaint. Colour deviations in fabrics, leathers, wood and stone (particularly natural stone/marble) as well as glass compared with the Wittmann sample collection — especially on subsequent deliveries — do not entitle you to make a complaint. Genuine leather is a purely natural product. The animals' hides may show certain marks such as healed scratches from hedges, insect bites and the like. These marks, like colour deviations, are not defects in quality but rather signs of the natural state of the hides. In use, leather continues to "live", so that creases form and the surface texture changes. These changes are intended and are therefore in no case grounds for complaint.
