The collaboration between Wittmann and the Spalt design group began in 1960 with the 3/4 furniture — an armchair, a stool and a matching side table, created as a homage to Spalt's idea of "intelligent furniture for a new living culture". The name "3/4" is a charming reminder of the three members of the working group who, after one colleague left, became known as "the 3/4-ers".
With the reissue of these design icons, Wittmann sends a clear signal: craft precision and timeless elegance remain central today. On the Constanze 3/4 fauteuil, a softly upholstered moulded wood shell rests on a polished chrome-plated aluminium cross — light, stable and masterfully made. A second moulded wood shell gives the perfectly quilted seat additional support, while the distinctive leg position breaks up the compactness and lends the piece the desired lightness. The striking U-shaped armrests round off the characteristic design. A matching upholstered stool completes the ensemble and invites stylish relaxation.

Genuine leather is a purely natural product. The animals' hides may show certain marks such as healed scratches from hedges, insect bites and the like. These marks, like colour deviations, are not defects in quality but rather signs of the natural state of the hides. In use, leather continues to "live", so that creases form and the surface texture changes. These changes are intended and are therefore in no case grounds for complaint.
