Club 1910 — a classic reinterpreted
The 1910 design reflects Josef Hoffmann’s versatility and creativity impressively. The private client wanted a generous, comfortable fauteuil that would clearly stand apart from previous models — and yet remain unmistakably a „typical“ Hoffmann. Hoffmann mastered this challenge with bravura: the generous proportions reveal his hand immediately, while the distinctive seam bands that structure the seat and backrest give the design a fresh, new note. In this way the „Quadratl-Hoffmann“ showed that he too could take new paths. Today this representative piece is making its comeback at Wittmann as the Club 1910 — complemented by a perfectly matched bench, newly developed exclusively after the historical design.

Note: creases are inherent in the design, workmanship and material and are not grounds for complaint. Colour deviations in fabrics, leathers, wood and stone (particularly natural stone/marble) as well as glass compared with the Wittmann sample collection — especially on subsequent deliveries — do not entitle you to make a complaint. Genuine leather is a purely natural product. The animals’ hides may show certain marks such as healed scratches from hedges, insect bites and the like. These marks, like colour deviations, are not defects in quality but rather signs of the natural state of the hides. In use, leather continues to "live", so that creases form and the surface texture changes. These changes are intended and are therefore in no case grounds for complaint.
