The sofa is available as a 2.5- and 3-seater, in two seat depths and various combination covers.

Ishino stands for balanced proportions and a high design standard. The curve appears clear and harmonious, the folds casual yet precise. Every seam sits exactly where it belongs. The programme, designed by Dai Sugasawa, combines gentle softness with a clear, balanced design language.

Cosiness and landscaping come together here to form a versatile overall concept. Sofas, armchairs, stools and tables can be flexibly combined with one another. Different levels, volumes and functions allow for individual spatial landscapes and create a special atmosphere. Cold foam: cold foam is a high-quality, dimensionally stable upholstery foam characterised by its particular elasticity and resilience. It adapts pleasantly to the body without losing its shape. In high-quality upholstered furniture, cold foam ensures precise, comfortable and consistently shape-retaining seating. After being under load, the material quickly returns to its original shape – resulting in fewer permanent seat impressions, so the upholstery retains its characteristic shape.

Note: the selection of leather hides is carried out by specialists according to strict specifications and high inspection standards. Leather naturally has soft and firm areas of hide, which may also be processed alongside one another. It stretches through body heat and moisture during use. This results, to a certain extent, in waves and creases (so-called seat impressions). Favourite seating spots document this particularly clearly. This adaptation process is largely complete after a few weeks. Further stretching is minimal and unobtrusive. Depending on the tanning method, colouring and surface treatment, leather initially has a material-typical odour. This noticeably diminishes over the course of a few weeks. Airing can accelerate this. Walter Knoll processes several leather hides (between five and seven) for one upholstered seating group. No hide is like another. Insect bites, small injuries from fences, or marks from fighting leave small scars on the cattle hide, which you may rediscover in the leather. Fattening folds are a sign of the animal's health and good nutrition. These material-typical characteristics do not impair the quality of the leather furniture. Differences in sheen, colour and structure within a single hide and between the cut pieces of a cover are likewise characteristic and typical of leather furniture.
