A small tree in the room: the Foster 620 Side Table looks as though it were rooted directly in the floor. Its characterfully grained trunk of solid walnut or oak tapers and elegantly carries the slender table top. The table is available in black, bronze, or with a high-quality leather cover.
The Foster 620 Side Table stands for the union of natural materials and precise craftsmanship. It complements the Foster 620 programme developed by architect Norman Foster for public spaces.
As a delicate side table, it fits perfectly alongside benches, armchairs and sofas – whether in a lobby or reception area, or in a cosy reading corner at home. Nature played a central role in the table's development, both in design and manufacture. The base is made of solid wood and has an evenly velvety surface. A particular challenge was processing the wood so that it withstands heat and cold under varying climatic conditions without cracking. The design engineers spent months developing the right solution.
