The Hanging Egg was designed by Nanna Ditzel and is a Danish design icon. The original was made of rattan, but for the Sika Design Exterior collection weather-resistant materials have been used, so that you can enjoy the hanging chair in the garden or on the terrace all year round. The chair consists of alu-rattan woven onto an aluminium frame. The Exterior collection is made perfectly for outdoor use. The Hanging Egg lounge chair lets you enjoy the garden all day long.
The weave
The weave of the Hanging Egg collection is made of a plastic that is absolutely resistant to weathering and remains colourfast over time. It is hand-woven and has a surface that feels pleasant and looks very natural.
