Signet Clou armchair
Clou is a stylistic flower: a triangular shell on a slender pedestal base that, when opened out, resembles a blooming flower. The design by Professor Heiliger combines an unusual shape with an equally unusual function.
Pulling the loop while pressing against the backrest tilts it backwards, and the armrest folds outwards in sync – turning the compact armchair into a wide-open recliner shell. The memory function in the pedestal base then automatically turns the chair back to its starting position.
