The latest collection by Sifas® is modern, comfortable and light, made from lacquered aluminium and Textylene® canvas fabric to suit any setting, whether dining room or family living room.
Textylene®
Textylene®, a fabric of PVC-coated polyester, is a leader in a wide range of markets. Well known as an outstanding fabric for leisure furniture, Textylene® is found on chairs, cushions and umbrellas around the globe. The fabric consists of PVC-coated, dimensionally stable polyester yarn and is considered unrivalled in terms of strength and beauty.
Textylene® is flame-retardant, heat-sealable, mould-resistant and stable at both hot and cold temperatures. Textylene® is a superb contract fabric in terms of durability, specially engineered from yarns that resist wear even after many years of outdoor use. Minimal care and maintenance, and crisp colours that still look vivid and strong after many years outdoors, even in the harshest weather conditions.
Technical and colour data
- Structure: chrome-plated aluminium tubes and epoxy paint, baked at 200 °C.
- Wear-resistant glide feet in polyamide with glass-fibre reinforcement.
- Comfort: self-supporting and removable Textylene® canvas fabric encased in polyvinyl-coated polyester fibres.
- Table top: glass top enamelled on the underside at 900 °C, top surface and edges chemically sandblasted (no fingerprints).
The materials have been tested for resistance to the environment, sun, water, salt spray, frost and natural chemicals.
The fabric is opaque, treated to be water-repellent, removable and machine-washable at 30 °C.
