The TRAVERSE collection by Royal Botania combines well-considered functionality with a clear, elegant formal language. Designed by Matthias De Ferm, the table takes its cue from the traditional English gateleg or folding table and translates that principle into a modern outdoor design. TRAVERSE adapts to the occasion: for intimate gatherings the table can be opened only partly, while fully extended it seats more guests.
A smooth sliding support system makes it comfortable to handle, while the slim storage profile makes the collection particularly practical for compact outdoor areas. In its choice of materials, too, TRAVERSE shows the standards typical of Royal Botania: the frame is executed in Anthracite aluminium, the table top in teak. The collection is available in two versions – as a round folding table with Ø 130 cm and as a rectangular folding table measuring 150 × 85 cm. The result is an outdoor table that harmoniously unites flexibility, refinement and a striking aesthetic – ideal for anyone who wants to furnish their outdoor space with style while relying on practical adaptability.
The support struts glide smoothly and are discreetly concealed in the middle section of the frame when folded. Closing both sides of the Traverse table reveals a further advantage: folded up, it is remarkably slim and therefore easy to store.
