The Palma parasol by Royal Botania combines sculptural design with innovative engineering. As the world's first automatic garden parasol it simplifies shading outdoor areas, using a particularly clear, organic design language. All mechanical components are elegantly integrated into the slim structure, so that no visible screws or struts disturb the appearance.
The patented opening and closing system makes Palma especially convenient: a single click is enough and the parasol opens smoothly. Palma therefore dispenses with conventional crank or pulley systems and offers modern, effortless operation. The parasol received the Red Dot Award "Best of the Best" for its innovative design.
The Palma collection stands for luxurious shade with exceptional ease of use. The design by Kris Van Puyvelde combines high-quality materials, a pared-back form and a fully integrated technical concept. With a width of around 3 metres, Palma is ideal for stylish terraces, garden areas and high-quality outdoor lounges. The base is also matched to the mast in design terms and can be moved effortlessly thanks to its movable rim.
