The Bloom parasol by Royal Botania is a further development within the parasol collection and is conceptually based on the award-winning Palma parasol. Its design combines a clear, modern line with an organic-looking formal language that makes it a striking element in the outdoor area.
At the heart of the design is the newly developed opening mechanism. While the Palma still works with a pneumatic system, the Bloom uses a lever-operated spindle system. This makes larger canopy areas possible while also ensuring controlled, precise operation. As the parasol opens, the upper part of the hub moves downwards and connects with the lower segment, with the support ribs arranging themselves into a closed, stable structure. The construction thus appears particularly harmonious and organic – viewed from below, the form recalls a flower opening, which gives the Bloom its characteristic name.
In its choice of materials, too, the Bloom follows the standards of Royal Botania: robust, high-quality components such as aluminium ribs and a stainless steel pole form the structural basis. The parasol is complemented by a protective cover. For installation, a stainless steel tube and a steel base are optionally available. The Bloom is also available in various colour versions, allowing it to be integrated flexibly into different design concepts.
