Important: possible movement of the wood, small cracks or changes in the wood over time cannot be the subject of complaint, as they are not a product defect but are caused by the natural settling of the wood under varying room conditions.
Small stains or accumulations of mould on the surface of the product are also a normal reaction of solid wood, especially if it is stored for a long time in the transport crates made specially for it, or if objects (vases, books, ashtrays, glasses) are left standing on it for a long time, preventing the wood from “breathing” properly and releasing its moisture into the air.
