Poltrona Frau MONTERA small chair
The Montera stool is distinguished by raised supporting elements characterised by a crossed structure and a front footrest in matt grey metal with a covering. The backrest retains its characteristic curved form but is reduced in its proportions. The same materials and finishes are used consistently: Pelle Frau® leather and Cuoio Saddle Extra leather with a smooth cut, seamlessly joined and enhancing one another. An alternative version of the stool is fully covered in Pelle Frau® leather, with the stitching in this case in tone-on-tone yarn.
The structure of the Montera stool is made from moulded multi-layer beech, while the upholstery is in polyurethane foam. The frame is in solid ash in a wengé or mocha colour. Plastic caps and a metal sheet with a matt grey finish protect the upper part of the footrest. The Montera column stool allows 360° rotation and can be adjusted in height by means of a gas spring operated with a chrome steel lever beneath the seat. The chrome steel base consists of a support plate with a crossed structure, column, footrest and round plate. The support plate with spacers in black nylon fixes the upper structure to the base. The footrest is made from a tube with a fluted finish and diamond motif. The upper section of the column (above the footrest) is covered in Cuoio Saddle Extra leather or Pelle Frau® leather, matching the covering of the upper structure.
