The Isadora chair takes its name as a homage to the grace of the artist Isadora Duncan, the pioneer of modern dance. In a new concept designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, the chair takes shape through the skilful fusion of wood and core leather. The structure of the Isadora chair is made from solid wood, with skilful working techniques producing a curved and lively form. Core leather encases the structure completely and gives the chair the appearance of almost floating. Precise cuts and artisanal seams lend it the look of a light garment. It radiates a sense of lightness and stability based on the high-quality craftsmanship that reduces the materials to the essential through subtractive processes and emphasises their pure beauty. The design of the Isadora chair skilfully combines memories of past forms with a contemporary vision.
