Point 1920 Heritage daybed
Mario Ruiz studied the history of POINT and its most significant designs in depth in order to develop his first collection for the company. The Heritage collection takes its inspiration from the Alicante brand's famous hand-woven wickerwork and integrates traditional materials and formats into a more modern, more fluid and softer design language. "I have in my mind the image of the craftsmen who worked with wickerwork in Alicante in the 1920s and created the first POINT furniture. That is where its soul was born. That is still inspiring today", says Mario Ruiz.
Structure in lacquered aluminium, covered with 6 mm thick Shintotex®-Round fibres in two finishes: Moss Brown or Ash Grey. Seat and back cushions are made from high-resilience polyurethane foam.
The synthetic weave is particularly resistant to heat, rain, ice, snow and UV radiation.
