Inspired by the delicate fronds of an unfurling fern leaf, the Fern Lounge Chair by Sebastian Herkner is an imposing yet cosy lounge chair with a design language that goes back to nature. Combining Gloster's characteristic plantation teak with a soft outdoor rope, the enveloping woven backrest offers the very best comfort and creates a sheltered feeling. The weave is fixed to a typically Scandinavian teak frame that mirrors its contours and, naturally, meets the highest demands for comfort. Two backrest heights give the Fern collection two different characters - a splendid, low lounge chair and a more intimate high wing chair.
The frames of the Gloster Fern garden furniture are made from the finest teak. It is thanks to its expert surface treatment that the precious wood has a strikingly beautiful sheen. For Gloster it goes without saying that every teak tree processed was also planted by the company itself. This ensures that the wood used is plantation teak and not illegally felled timber. The backrest of the Fern collection consists of powder-coated aluminium combined with weatherproof rope in the colour combination "Meteor/Raven" or "White/Dune". The cushions belonging to the chair can be chosen among the individual options entirely to suit your preferences and needs - the choice of colours is enormous!
