Ethnicraft SPINDLE chest of drawers
With clear lines and slightly tapered legs, the Spindle range is an understated companion in the bedroom. Reclaimed teak gives every piece its own surface — the images are therefore to be understood as an indication; each piece carries its own history.
This piece was designed by Nathan Yong. Nathan Yong designs restrained furniture with clear geometry. For Ethnicraft he draws the Spindle range, which combines slender proportions with reclaimed teak.
This version is made from teak and is supplied without surface treatment (teak natural). The wood used is Tectona grandis, sourced from Indonesia.
The piece is intended for indoor use.
Material
The main material is teak. The surface is left untreated so that the natural beauty of the wood remains visible. Solid wood is a living material: grain, shade and texture differ from piece to piece — this is intentional and not a defect.
