The Oscar sideboard by Ethnicraft combines generous storage space with a clear, modern design language shaped by craftsmanship. Open compartments, closed areas and a balanced horizontal silhouette make the sideboard a versatile piece of furniture for living, dining and working areas.
The Oscar sideboard was designed by Alain van Havre. The design is conceived as a functional multitasker: the open areas are ideal for presenting books, art objects and personal accessories, while the sliding doors and drawers offer additional closed storage space for documents and other items.
Particularly characteristic are the exceptional grooves in the fronts of the two sliding doors. Every narrow groove is carefully carved by hand. This creates slight differences in the surface that make each Oscar sideboard an individual piece of furniture with a handcrafted character.
At a width of 224 cm, the sideboard offers plenty of room for storage and decoration. The combination of natural teak, black-tinted teak and black metal legs creates a striking contrast and gives the piece a timeless, architectural appeal.
Material
The Oscar sideboard is made from natural solid teak and black-tinted solid teak and combined with black metal legs. The natural wood structure and grain deliberately remain visible and underline the warm character of the material. The hand-carved fronts additionally provide a high-quality and individual surface effect.
