The Mikado coffee table by Alain van Havre is not simply a smaller edition of the Mikado dining table. It is a complete reinterpretation of the larger design and a study in balance and symmetry.
This piece was designed by Alain van Havre. For Alain van Havre, inspiration is everything. Closely connected to his surroundings and fascinated by natural materials, he has developed exceptional woodworking expertise over the years. His own design language revolves around form itself — most clearly in collections such as Bok, Graphic, PI and Stairs. Over the past twenty years he has decisively shaped Ethnicraft's signature.
This version is made from oak and finished with oil in oak natural. The wood used is Quercus robur, sourced from Serbia.
The piece is intended for indoor use.
