The Irregular shelf by Ethnicraft combines generous storage space with a clear, rhythmic and at the same time characterful design language. Differently arranged surfaces and open gaps give the shelf a lively structure without losing its calm and balanced overall effect.
The Irregular shelf was designed by Alain van Havre. The design celebrates rhythmic simplicity and deliberately goes beyond the purely functional role of storage. The irregular arrangement of the individual elements creates an expressive piece of furniture that shows books, decorative objects and personal items to great effect.
The shelf can be placed against a wall in the classic way or used freely in the room as a clever room divider. This makes it particularly well suited to open living areas, spacious lofts or combined living and working spaces. Several Irregular shelves can also be combined with one another to structure larger areas.
Material
The Irregular shelf is made from FSC-certified teak. Teak is distinguished by its fine grain, its naturally high oil content and its high resilience and durability. The brown version emphasises the warm, natural colour effect of the wood and gives the shelf a high-quality and timeless appearance.
