The Elin chair by Ethnicraft is designed for outdoor use and combines a slim, uncluttered silhouette with robust workmanship. The frame and backrest are made of powder-coated aluminium, the seat surface is hand-woven from a weatherproof cord. The interplay of smooth metal and fine weave gives the chair its calm yet warm appearance.
The aluminium frame is weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant and light – the chair can be moved effortlessly. The powder-coated surface is available in two colour tones, and the weave of the seat surface is matched to it. The chair is delivered fully assembled.
The Elin is offered in two versions: as a narrow chair without armrests and as a slightly wider variant with armrests. Both have the same seat height and can be combined at one table – for example as a mixture of armrest chairs at the head ends and narrow chairs along the long sides.
The restrained design language suits wooden garden tables as well as metal or stone surfaces. In the Dark Bronze version the chair recedes quietly into the background, in Sand it appears lighter and more delicate.
