Ethnicraft CHOPPED room divider
Ethnicraft Chopped room divider
The Chopped room divider by Ethnicraft combines functional space planning with an expressive, craft-led design language. Its slim, vertical silhouette makes it possible to structure open living areas elegantly without taking away the room's generous, open effect.
The Chopped room divider is designed to be both functional and decorative. It can be used to separate different living areas visually, to create secluded corners or to give an open room additional structure and depth.
A special feature is its traditional craft production. Every example is made by experienced Javanese carvers and turners. The room divider therefore carries the history and skill of its makers within it and takes on an individual, authentic character.
The black colouring underlines the sculptural effect of the Chopped room divider and brings out the worked surface texture particularly clearly. At the same time, the dark, restrained look means the piece can be combined versatilely with wood, natural stone, textiles and modern furnishing elements.
At a height of 181 cm, the Chopped room divider is ideal for dividing up larger living, dining or working areas. Its shallow depth of just 3 cm keeps the construction visually slim and makes it a decorative alternative to closed partition walls.
Material
The Chopped room divider is made from mahogany. The wood is tinted black and finished with a water-based lacquer. This surface treatment protects the wood while underlining the dark, striking appearance as well as the hand-worked structure of the room divider.
