Ethnicraft Capitan chair - outdoor
The Capitan outdoor dining chair by Ethnicraft combines organic softness with a clear, modern and particularly balanced design language. Its semi-transparent woven construction gives the chair a light appearance, while generous seat and back cushions provide a high level of comfort.
The Capitan outdoor dining chair was designed by Daniel Lavonius Jarefeldt. The design has been carefully tuned down to the last detail and in its proportions and brings warmth and lightness to modern dining areas. The open weave structure forms an appealing contrast to the soft cushions.
The Dark Bronze version combines a dark bronze aluminium frame with a matching dark bronze weave and dark brown seat and back cushions. This creates a warm, elegant colour effect that can be combined versatilely with wood, stone and other natural outdoor materials.
The Capitan was developed for life outdoors, but is equally at home indoors. Thanks to its light construction, the chair is easy to move and can be stacked to save space when required. It is therefore suitable both for private terraces and gardens and for hospitality and other commercially used areas.
The generous cushions are designed for outdoor use and are fitted with quick-drying foam. The Capitan thus combines pleasant seating comfort with a practical and robust construction for daily use.
Material
The frame of the Capitan outdoor dining chair is made of powder-coated aluminium in Dark Bronze or Sand. The seat and back cushions have a cover of 100 % polypropylene and a quick-drying outdoor foam filling.
