With conventional parasols you and your guests sit under the least appealing part: poles, ribs or cords hanging above your heads. We asked ourselves whether we could make a parasol more appealing and at the same time more robust. The result: Inumbra and Inumbrina. Sturdy, robust and appealing. The name of the parasol reflects its function and literally means “in the shade”.
The main difference between Inumbra and Inumbrina lies in the operation. Opening and closing the parasol with a rope proves to be very simple and even faster. Although it withstands wind speeds of up to 8 Beaufort, it is strongly advisable to close the parasol sooner rather than later (as a rule of thumb, from 6 Beaufort). You can also combine the parasol with the Gargantua or Pantagruel picnic table.
