Melville by Ditre – design in its finest form

Plain as origami and as refined as a tailored suit. The first sofa by Patrick Norguet for Ditre Italia combines striking volumes with an elegant, inviting design – comparable to a comfortable item of clothing. Characteristic style features are the edges of backrest and seat, folded like the button fastening of a collar, which hold the generous upholstery in shape. These details emphasise the soft, accomplished character of the sofa. The collection is rounded off by matching armchairs which, like the sofa, are covered in fabric.

  • Frame / structure: load-bearing elements in fir. Structure in multi-layer wood panels of class E1.
  • Suspension: backrest in laminated wood panels; seat in crossed and mechanically pre-tensioned elastic webbing of polypropylene fibre and latex
  • Fabrics are removable
