Melville by Ditre – design in its finest form. As plain as origami and as refined as a tailored suit. The first sofa by Patrick Norguet for Ditre Italia combines striking volumes with an elegant, inviting design – comparable to a comfortable item of clothing. Characteristic stylistic features are the edges of the backrest and seat, which are folded like the button fastening of a collar and hold the generous upholstery in shape. These details emphasise the soft, accomplished character of the sofa. The collection is rounded off by matching armchairs which, like the sofa, are covered in fabric.

  • Frame / structure: load-bearing elements in fir. Structure in class E1 multi-layer wood panels.
  • Suspension: backrest in laminated wood panels; seat in crossed, mechanically pre-tensioned elastic bands of propylene fibres and latex
  • Fabrics are removable
