DEDON SWINGREST Hanging Lounger
Although it shares part of its name and most of its construction with DEDON's iconic NESTREST Hanging Lounger, the new SWINGREST by Daniel Pouzet is in a class of its own. The stunning SWINGREST hanging lounger is one of the first products created at the DEDON Island Resort, our outdoor living laboratory on Siargao in the Philippines. Pouzet is co-architect and designer of DEDON Island and found his inspiration for SWINGREST in the exceptionally high ceilings of the villas on DEDON Island. He took the basket-like lower section from his earlier creation NESTREST. On this basis he created a new element that offers even more room (for even more people) while taking up less space. SWINGREST can be hung on the terrace, on the veranda or inside the house, and is convincing above all through the clarity and simplicity of its concept. Pouzet opted for an uncomplicated product and concentrated on refined design details. He developed, for example, the elegant suspension of the SWINGREST, its table top that swivels through 180°, and the special weave that wraps around the exposed tubes. SWINGREST is available in Natural-dyed weave and is optionally fitted with a fabric curtain that provides shade and creates privacy while still allowing you to look out easily from inside.

DEDON fibre is not only extremely weather-resistant and unaffected by cold, heat, sun, rain or snow, it also has exceptional colour and structural stability and is impervious to chlorinated and salt water.
