CIRQL NU is made with DEDON's innovative Invert fibre and represents both the next evolution of the collection and of the company's DNA. Werner Aisslinger's latest collection is produced using co-extrusion, a process in which two different fibre colours and types are combined in one strand. The result: breathtaking colour combinations, varied textures and geometric patterns with a special 3D effect that creates an almost iridescent sheen depending on the viewing angle. Light and semi-transparent, innovative yet archetypal, CIRQL NU will prove a popular companion in the outdoor and indoor world.

Inspiration
Werner Aisslinger's inventiveness and his many influences find a surprising artistic expression in CIRQL NU. "I have always loved the simple forms and at the same time the sophisticated weave of African outdoor chairs," says Aisslinger, "especially the round ones, which are traditionally woven around oil drums as their basic form." The German designer wanted to explore his deep fascination with African craftsmanship with the help of DEDON's state-of-the-art technology. "This connection led us to the concept of CIRQL NU ― rounded, inviting forms combined with a new, radiant weave pattern and colour combinations, supported by the high-tech production of DEDON's lightweight frames and connecting elements. The result is magnificent," he adds.

CIRQL NU encompasses bold contours, breathtaking colours, expressive details and technological innovations. The weave creates a unique interplay of form and colour that changes according to the user's viewing angle. This gives the armchair and the easy chair added personality and makes them multilayered, durable companions with an individual character. Optional seat cushions provide additional elegance and relaxation, as do the footstool and the side table. CIRQL NU is a tactile and visual masterpiece that works wonderfully both on its own and with the DEDON new arrivals for 2024 and existing collections.
Designer
