Carl Hansen FK63 deep bookcase with stand legs
The FK63 bookcase system was developed for the individual presentation of functional and aesthetic objects and enlivens any room with its striking presence. Designed in 1963 by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, the piece grew out of their shared interest in functional-minimalist design, with its focus on proportions, craftsmanship details and natural materials. It is made of solid FSC®-certified (FSC-C135991) oak Wood, which is oiled to bring out the texture and grain of the Wood even further.
This Version stands freely in the room: the deep bookcase rests on a slender, black lacquered steel Frame, giving it a Height of 72.5 cm. Villa Schmidt offers two Sizes — 72.5 × 56 × 36 cm (16.6 kg) and 72.5 × 112 × 36 cm (22.1 kg). Both come as standard with a back panel in oak veneer. Available as accessories per module are a matching shelf in oak, which also serves as a divider, and a drawer in white-oiled ash. All dimensions are Height × Width × Depth.
