Carl Hansen CH338 dining table
The CH338 dining table for six people is an extended version of the CH337 dining table by Hans J. Wegner from 1962. Its gently curved solid wood table top invites relaxed gatherings. With up to 14 seats, it is suitable for meetings and larger family celebrations. The CH338 is the medium size of three tables in the same design. All have elliptical table tops with cross grain and extensions that can be pulled apart and extended with up to four leaves. The series also includes the CH337 and the CH339.
The CH338 has a solid wood table top and a solid wood frame. It is available in two versions: with an extension for two leaves including one black wooden support leg, or with an extension for four leaves including four black wooden support legs. Both versions are available in eleven finishes: soaped, oiled or lacquered beech; soaped, oiled, white-oiled or lacquered oak; oiled or lacquered walnut; and oiled or lacquered mahogany. The insert leaves for the table centre are ordered separately and are available for an additional charge in MDF Grey, MDF Black or solid wood in the same finish. The wood grain of the insert leaves may differ from that of the dining table top.
