With its absolutely unmistakable shape, the legendary CH24 Wishbone Chair by Hans J. Wegner holds a special place in the world of modern design. When designing the CH24, Wegner decided to combine the backrest and armrest in a single piece. To give the steam-bent top stability and ensure comfortable seating, Wegner developed the characteristic Y-shaped backrest after which the Wishbone Chair is named.
Making a Wishbone Chair requires more than 100 different steps, most of which are still carried out by hand. The hand-woven seat surface alone takes an experienced craftsman about an hour, using approx. 120 metres of paper cord. The impressive durability and stability of the paper cord makes the chair both strong and long-lasting. The Wishbone Chair offers comfort and stability, and it meets every aesthetic demand for a distinctive, elegant shape. Over the years, the Wishbone Chair has become known as the ideal chair embodying the essence of modern Danish design.

- Seat surface version: paper cord in Natural or Black
- Frame version: solid oak, beech, walnut, mahogany or teak (soaped, lacquered, oiled)
- Oak and ash have a clearly visible wood grain when lacquered.
- Beech has only minimal grain when lacquered.
