Bay is a collection of woven furniture for the outdoor area, characterised by a sculptural and monolithic presence. The enveloping forms are combined with upholstered seats that recall boulders, while the soft cushions provide the same elegance, comfort and refinement as indoor furniture. The double weave pattern with its airy gaps lends the collection transparency and lightness.

Fabrics without treatment (AGATE - EFESO - ELIDE - LESIA - LINDOS - LIPARI - SAMOS)
These fabrics underline the comfort of the products, as they are comparable to indoor covers in softness and breathability, even though the fibres used are stabilised polypropylene (PP - Agate, Efeso, Elide, Lesia, Lipari, Samos) or polyester (PL - Lindos) for outdoor use. Furniture covered in these fabrics needs more careful care, as they absorb water even though the waterproof inner cover does form a certain barrier. Under extreme conditions (heavy and prolonged rain) there is nevertheless a risk of water penetrating the cushions.

Fabrics with water-repellent treatment (ECATE - ELCE - EOS - LEILA - LOREO - SILEA)
The water-repellent treatment is a permanent treatment and can only be applied to polyester fabrics (PL - Elce, Loreo, Silea) or to acrylic fabrics (PC - Ecate, Eos, Leila). Its greatest advantage is that the fabric fibres become completely impermeable without the appearance, hand, effect and breathability of the fabric being impaired in any way. Because the fabric is water-repellent it does not become damp, but this does not mean that the fabric is impermeable, as the reverse is not given the waterproof treatment. The acrylic fabrics (PC - Ecate, Eos, Leila) underline the softness that is comparable to indoor covers.

Fabrics with water-resistant treatment (ELEO - ELETTO - EPEO - ERIA - EVO)
These fabrics are also stabilised polypropylene for outdoor use. The difference from the untreated fabrics is that they are given a waterproof treatment on the reverse: a polyurethane film is applied to the back of the fabric, ensuring that no water can pass through. The visible side becomes damp, while the inner side is protected against the ingress of liquids. Please note that the waterproof fabrics are not 100% impermeable; if the fabrics are frequently and lengthily exposed to water (e.g. in heavy rainfall), covers should be used to protect the product and to prevent water entering through the seams and wetting the upholstery. The polyurethane film remains durable even after numerous wash cycles and can therefore be described as a permanent finish.

Waterproof fabrics (ALCEO)
The fabric Alceo is a waterproof fabric from the nautical sector with high resistance to weathering, germs, abrasion and stains, which also makes it suitable for the contract sector. It is a waterproof fabric that prevents water from penetrating. The textile was developed specifically for outdoor use without particular maintenance effort: a damp sponge is enough to remove stains, and dry dirt can simply be brushed off. Alceo is able to retain its original appearance with minimal care and prevents water from penetrating the cushions.
