The wooden garden furniture collections offer a comprehensive range of furniture in 5 different types of wood. All timbers come from sustainable forestry.
The Alexander Rose premium hardwood collection is made from Bolivian Roble, one of the strongest and most durable woods in the world. The second hardwood collection is made of Cornis, which comes from the Congo in Central Africa. As a third type of wood we offer mahogany, which also comes from the Congo in Central Africa. Our fourth type of wood comes from Eastern Europe — pine softwood, a wood better suited to heavy and rustic furniture. The fifth collection is a white-lacquered furniture range called New England, made from Vietnamese acacia.
Alexander Rose has the largest selection of wooden benches in the United Kingdom and developed the first ergonomic backrest with curved slats. This has since become a recognised design classic.
