Outdoor armchair Cologne • Alexander Rose garden furniture
The precision-made frames of our furniture are produced from rectangular or round stainless steel profile of grade 304. Owing to its composition, the stainless steel forms a protective film of chromium oxide that prevents surface corrosion and thus makes it ideal for outdoor use. The Cologne collection, including the chairs and tables made from the finest Roble, will give you many years of pleasure and comfort and needs little care.
After the ground-breaking success of the Avant series, launched in 2003, Alexander Rose is now taking its leave of it after 12 glorious years. Its place is taken by our new Cologne collection.
The inspiring concept of this series comes from Povl Eskildsen, a critically acclaimed Danish furniture designer. The Cologne collection is characterised by an interplay of rectangular stainless steel combined with Roble wood, table tops in ceramic and chairs with outdoor fabric. All materials complement one another and offer an excellent variety of combinations for garden furniture sets.
The elegant, straight-lined furniture was also developed so that it can be combined with our solid Roble wood furniture. The choice is even greater when the Cologne stainless steel chairs are combined with solid Roble wood tables.
The precision-made stainless steel frames with a high-quality brushed finish are one of the hallmarks of this furniture series. There is a choice of table tops in Roble wood, produced in our own factory in Bolivia, and two different ceramic tops that can be delivered immediately from our warehouse. A further three ceramic table tops in different colours and textures can be ordered as an option. For chairs, there is a choice of Roble wood, outdoor fabric in Melange Grey or Graphit, and a unique round String weave in the colour charcoal.
It goes without saying that we are very curious to see whether Cologne will prove a worthy successor to our successful Avant series in future. We are convinced that the Cologne collection, like Avant so far, will continue to help furnish some of the most beautiful homes in the world.
Alexander Rose stands for quality and design throughout Great Britain and Europe and is recognised for sustainable garden furniture products.
