The BM0489 Table Bench, designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958, is a reinterpretation of the classic table-bench design. With its woven paper cord seat and solid oak, the bench combines timeless elegance with Scandinavian functionality. The rounded edges of the wood and the hand-woven basket pattern lend the design warmth and lightness.
Its making demands the highest craftsmanship: around 335 metres of paper cord are woven into a stable seat weave in six hours. The BM0489 is available in two sizes and can be used in many ways – in the hallway, at the foot of the bed or as a sofa or side table in the living area.
